Megan Victoria Hoffart made her debut on Tuesday, July 7, at 10:30 am. She weighed 6 pounds and 13 ounces and measured 18 3/4 inches long. She is a real joy.
Megan does have a touch of jaundice, but the doctor's do not feel her levels are anything to worry about. She goes for a follow up appointment on Monday.
We spent 3 days in the hospital and though recovery from a c-section is not easy, it is easier to manage the pain the second time around. I'm hoping to feel back to normal very soon.
Andrew is a great big brother. He loves Megan and sounds so cute when he says her name. He's learning to be gentle with her and loves to talk to her and about her. And when he took his first car ride with her in the seat beside him, he was so excited!
We missed Andrew like crazy while we were in the hospital and are so very happy to be home with him. We know we're going to love being a family of four.
